SERVE.

Be the difference.

Teach full time and make an impact in the lives of students while gaining leadership skills as coaches, club moderators, or campus ministers in Catholic schools.

"BTC has shaped the way I view my calling as a teacher - not only am I here as a teacher to empower my students to learn and to help them grow, but I am here to learn from Jesus the Teacher, who guides me as I respond to this vocation."
- Steph, Cohort 5

LEARN.

Be supported as a new teacher.
Earn a Master of Arts in Teaching and receive mentoring from experts with a passion for education.

“Teaching means more to me than just helping my students understand content. Teaching is about making an impact. It’s opening my heart up to allow my students to make an impact on me. It is doing my very best to love like Jesus and for my students to see and know that. When they know that they are loved, that’s when they can learn and understand the content.”
 - Mallory, Cohort 5

“These two years have been the most formative time of my life thanks to my community and students. They have taught me more than I ever could have  imagined, specifically how to  continually build community through love and prayer.”
- Shannon, Cohort 4

Billiken Teacher Corps teachers embody the mantra of "Teach Me."
It is the students saying to their teachers, "Teach Me."
It is the teachers saying to their students, "Teach Me."
It is all of us saying to Christ, our ultimate teacher, "Teach Me."

TEACH ME. by St. Ignatius of Loyola

Lord, teach me to be generous,
to serve you as you deserve,
to give and not to count the cost,
to fight and not to heed the wounds,
to toil and not to seek for rest,
to labor and not to look for any reward,
save that of knowing that I do your holy will.
